Hey, I’m Tom! I am the Admin Assistant at Creative Options Regina. That is hardly how I define myself though. If I had to define myself, I would say I am the Derek Zoolander of Philosophizers; I have no idea what I’m doing but I am really, really, ridiculously good at pretending I’m good at something! As an avid seeker of knowledge you will find me reading almost anything I can get my hands on and watching lots of “educational” videos on YouTube (IE: Ted Talks). The sport of Tennis is near and dear to my heart and it will forever be there. It has helped mold and shape who I am today. I like to stay busy and embrace the grind! I am the Social Media Manager for Saskatchewan Down Syndrome Society and sit on their Board of Directors, I volunteer for Inclusion Regina facilitating their Next Chapter Book Club on Monday nights, I am co-owner of an online comic book selling group, and I started an online book club aiming to increase critical thinking through deep reading of “The Classics,” and I job coach people with disabilities for 4to40. To top this all off I find time to go to the gym 4-5 times a week and I am taking night classes to obtain my Master’s degree in Public Policy Analysis. I do this because I do not want to become complacent with my life, and also because I am about 98% sure I have undiagnosed ADD and ADHD! If you ever want to talk novels, movies, pop culture, or about how great Roger Federer is, my door is always open –The Joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences!

Hi I'm Ben, but you can call me Ranger Ben! Family has always been an important number one to me. I depend on their support for strength and guidance in most of the things that go on in my life. My wife Emma makes up my better and classier half and the multiple furry friends she comes with have managed to keep me hopping. We are a Winchester (Supernatural) and Potter family which naturally means all of our pets have weird and epic names. Sometimes I wish my parents were as cool as we are so that my name could have been something like B-asti-en Severus Morris-eaux!
I currently hold the role of Community Education and Outreach at Creative Options Regina. Usually that translates to a little bit of everything but officially I facilitate some of the mandatory trainings as well help to organize community initiatives and events! By trade I am an arts educator and love to infuse as many of the things I do with art and song. I have heard that I am weird but at least I am not normal!
I often refer to myself as a Master Builder or a Self-Proclaimed Idea-Machine; not because I am a genius at either but because they are things that I aspire to be. I like to think that I am approachable and that I always make time for a conversation. I am a painter. I am a writer. I’m an original G! I believe that to reach the peak you need to know the mountain. Taking the elevator to the top is cheating. Don’t be a cheater young Padawan! John Cena (WWE wrestler) is not my personal mentor or hero but he lives his life by a pretty rad Philosophy: Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect. I truly believe that there are always diamonds in the rough and you CAN look up to a fictitious television character. You just have to put your mind to it! ….and have a truly good reason for it.
